Our Sisal Soap Pouches are an easy way to keep your handcrafted soap bars dry between uses, allowing them to last longer. Our Natural Sisal Soap Pouch is perfect for mild exfoliation and massaging of the skin. It helps invigorate and soften skin, expose fresh skin cells, and stimulates blood circulation for the growth of new cells. Works as a great companion with our all-natural soaps.
What is Sisal?
Sisal is a natural fiber harvested from the agave plant. Its sturdy yet soft texture makes it the perfect match for creating suds and exfoliation. This eco-friendly material dries quickly and is quite durable, making your soap saver a worthwhile investment.
Drawstring design - The cotton drawstring allows you to hang the soap pouch in your shower or bathtub tap to dry and keep your soap close at hand for the next bathing.
Directions: Simply place your favorite body bar soap inside the pouch, pull the drawstring, and run under warm water to create a rich creamy suds and use as you would a loofah sponge. Rinse and hang to dry between uses.
Drain any excess water accumulated to help keep dry. Your soap pouch is machine washable, but we recommend to use a laundry muslin bag. Using a laundry muslin bag allow water and everything to go in without letting the mesh get tangled in the agitator. If your soap saver gets misshapen by the wash machine, simply re-shape it by stretching it back to shape while it’s still damp. Air dry.
You can also use this eco-friendly pouch for your odd bits of soap, this way you will get to use every last scrap of soap without dropping them, throwing them away, or it sliding out of your hands!
- During use, immerse it in hot water for 2 minutes to make the fabric soft and delicate.
- Some may have the smell of vegetable oil, which is the smell of natural raw materials, harmless to human body, and will gradually dissipate in the later stage.
- Machine washable. Sanitize your bag by boiling frequently (1x per week) to avoid any buildup or bacteria. Replace after 4-6 months depending on use.
Just immerse in warm soapy water(like your body wash) before use; do not share soap pouches with others, it is better to change it every 4 weeks, just like a towel.
Coming Full Circle: When the soap bag gets worn out, toss it into your compost bin! Bury it the garden, and enjoy vitamin-rich soil. it is fully compostable (either at home or industrially).
