Caribbean Sea Sponges are available in a variety of sizes for every need. Choose from our medium size, measuring approximately 4.5 - 5 inches in length, our large size, measuring approximately around 5-6 inches and our x-large size, measuring approximately around 6-7 inches. Heights can vary quite a bit from sponge to sponge, from approximately 3-6 inches. Please note that sponges are traditionally measured when wet, and expand in size once submerged in water. Each sponge is unique, with natural variations in size and shape, offering a truly organic feel for your skincare ritual.

Note: there may be sand, small pebbles, or small pieces of seaweed in your sponge when you receive it due to the natural manner of this product. If you do, simply saturate with water and rinse them out.
Sea Sponge care: Every few weeks, cleanse and disinfect by soaking in one of these solutions for two hours: 10% white vinegar with water, or 5% hydrogen peroxide with water for two hours. then rinse completely and air dry. Do not twist or pull the sponge, as this may damage the fibers and tear it. After each use, allow sponge to dry completely. With proper care, silk sponges can last for months.
WASH BEFORE USING!
To use, simply saturate with cold water and gently massage in circular motions. For a deeper cleanse, add a touch of your favorite facial wash. After use, rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry—this simple care ensures your sponge lasts for months of luxurious skincare rituals.
Warning: Sea Sponge Use
If you have a seafood allergy, it is generally not recommended to use sea sponges on your skin. Sea sponges are marine organisms and can potentially harbor tiny sea creatures like snails, periwinkles, and mussels, which are related to shellfish. Even though efforts are made to clean and remove these organisms, there is still a risk that allergens could be present.
Allergic reactions to sea sponges in individuals with seafood allergies are rare but possible. Symptoms could include skin irritation, itching, redness, or swelling. In severe cases, it could lead to anaphylaxis, a serious allergic reaction.
