Coffee | Tea | Over Cup Café Colao | Flannel Cloth Sock | Small Capacity | for Single Serve
Please Note:
If you prefer ultra-light, delicate coffees with very subtle body, a cloth filter may not be the ideal choice for your brewing style. However, if you’re familiar with pour-over coffee methods and enjoy a fuller, more rounded cup, this filter is made for you.
Crafted for single-serve brewing, this reusable flannel cloth strainer enhances the richness and smoothness of your coffee or tea. Designed for manual drip and pour-over preparation, it allows natural oils and nuanced flavors to pass through, creating a deeper, more satisfying taste. At the same time, its reusable design offers an eco-friendly alternative that helps reduce waste without compromising quality.
Premium Brewing Experience
The high-quality flannel cloth allows natural coffee oils to pass through while effectively filtering out grounds. The result is a full-bodied, aromatic cup with no sediment and a clean, instantaneous pour-through.
Ideal Size for Everyday Convenience
With a filter diameter of approximately 3.86 inches and an overall length of 4 inches. this strainer fits most coffee stands and cups. The 2-inch diameter bag comfortably holds up to 25 g of coffee grounds (about 2 tablespoons), making it ideal for brewing a single cup at home or in the office.
Durable & Eco-Friendly
Designed for repeated use, this cloth sock can be used up to 50 times, offering a sustainable alternative to disposable paper filters. The flannel cloth component can be easily removed from the sturdy stainless steel frame for thorough cleaning.
Easy to Use & Maintain
Cure the cloth filter before firts use. Best not skip this step as they are bias-taped with Cotton Light Flannel for preventing it from collapsing. Place it in bowl and pour boiling water.
The common cloth filter let the water run through too fast, so it is recommended to: 1) do a preinfusion (just get the coffee barley wet 2) pour slowly let it drain and pour again.
We recommend 16-17 ratio. Or about 16 grams of coffee per 250ml. You can use a scale if you would like.
You put the coffee in the cloth filter and then make coffee just like a standard pour over. Pour 70g of water, allow 30 seconds to bloom, then add remaining water (based on your ratio) until all has brewed through. Use slow circular pours.
After finish brewing, leave your cloth filter in a bowl with hot water for easy clean when finishing drinking your cafecito.
Then rinse by scrubbing it thoroughly under waarm running water and store in a dry place to prevent mold and keep it ready for your next brew. We recommend to speed up the drying process by wringing out all the remaining water and place it in a warm environment such as a window seal for a quicker result.
