An Uplifting and  Invigorating Soap

We have infused our Eucalyptus Herbal Soap with Eucalyptus and Peppermint for its sedative and refreshing properties that decongest skin, clean impurities from the pores, leaving clean skin, and refreshed.

The Story;

As someone who grew up with a wise grandmother in the farms of Puerto Rico, it is impossible for me to smell eucalyptus without conjuring up images of the hills behind my grandmother's wooden house, or the scent of herbs in my grandmother's medicine cabinet.

Childhood scents and special memories

This slightly sweet, intensely menthol scent in this soap will forever remind me of an alcolado that my grandmother used to rubbed me down to relieve cold symptoms. Then she used to make an affirmation that said;

"Sino te sanas hoy, te sanarás mañana" which means "If you don't heal today you will heal tomorrow" 

Comforting! I always use this affirmation on my family when they are sick with flu or allergies. 

What is Alcolado?

It’s part of our Puerto Rican culture!

Alcolado or Bay Rum is a blend of  alcohol and natural extracts such as  bay rum, menthol and eucalyptus.  It is  used locally to relieve  fever, muscle aches, insect bites and more.

Eucalyptus Herbal Soap isn’t for everyday but it’s your friend during cold and flu season. The smallest of sniffs during the shower will sent its minty-camphor scent through your nose and sinuses and deep into your lungs. It practically pushes its way through, making it perfect for when you’re feeling fed up with being stuffed up.

Eucalyptus Herbal Soap is cleansing with creamy bubbly but most importantly, it helps to refresh and open airways. Not only that, but by washing with it, some of that scent will stay with you through the day, working to keep you feeling your best for a lot longer.

Ingredients: Saponified Vegetable Oils (Olive, Castor, and Coconut), Herbal Infusion of Eucalyptus, Peppermint, and Rosemary in Distilled Water, Cocoa Butter, Eucalyptus Leaf Powder and Essential Oil Blend of Eucalyptus and Peppermint.

To Use: Wet with water and lather. For optimal lather, try using with a soap saver bag. To extend your bar's life, place on a soap dish when finished or leave in a soap saver bag and hang to dry.

Cautions: We recommend to use this soap on the body as it is too minty for the face and may give you a cooling sensation that you might not like. As always use with caution and if irritation occur discontinue using.

TIP: To prolonging the life span of our natural soaps, please ensure they do not sit in water when they are not being used. It is best to rest your soaps on well-drained soap dishes. You may also use a soap pouch to carry the soap, when using just need to get it wet then rubbing it with hands until create sufficient soap lather, after use just rinse the soap pouch and hang it to dry.
