THE FORMULA

This formula remind me when my grandmother would take some honey then she would add some herbs from her backyard and make natural medicine. She would put the honey jar in her kitchen cupboard for couples of weeks. Then the deep amber color and intensely fragrant honey which she called it "Un néctar dorado perfecto de bondad"(A perfect golden Nectar of Goodness) was rubbed onto our skin after a long day in the sun and also in a sweet tea when she knows someone at the house was gonna get sick.

The star ingredient in the luxurious HoneyBee Flowers Facial Cleansing Balm is nourishing Manuka Honey(Leptospermum scoparium) for its hydrating, soothing properties that can balance your skins ph.

Manuka honey has shown strong antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and emollient effects when applied topically to the skin. Manuka honey contains the unique compound, methylglyoxal, which gives it enhanced antimicrobial capacities as compared to other honeys.

Manuka honey has not received as much scientific attention as many other skincare ingredients. For this reason, much of the hype has been informed by anecdotal evidence. Fortunately, the existing science is promising and creates good data to make informed decisions on including manuka honey into your skincare routine.

WHO IS FOR

Warm an almond sized amount of the balm in your hands & gently massage into the face using small circular motions, inhaling the wonderful aromas. Rinse away with a warm damp cloth, following with a floral water & a facial oil or balm if required.

If you are allergic to bees It is best to avoid this product as it contains honey due to possible cross contamination of bee parts.

First time using this product?

If this is your first time using this product, we recommend patch testing before use. This can be done by simply applying a small amount of product to your forearm and waiting 24 hours to see if irritation occurs. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you may want to speak with your health care practitioner for further guidance before using products that contain essential oils.
