COLD PACK SHIPPING

Body Butters, Salves, Body Scrubs, Lip Balms etc. are handmade with the utmost care. Please allow 10-14 Business days for your items to ship.

Please note due to hot summer months these its will only ship on weekdays to ensure the items arrive to you without melting. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND ADDING A COLD PACK TO YOUR ORDER.

Cold pack shipping is suggested during May thru October, we strongly recommend ordering Cold Pack Shipping with your order to minimize the risk of melting.
Cold pack shipping is our recommendation to try preventing your salves, body butters, lip balms and scrubs from melting.  However, this is not a guarantee that the product will be in it’s normal state once delivered. 

We also encourage you to ship to a location where someone will be present to accept the package. If left to sit in the hot sun for hours, the products can still melt even if this cold shipping  pack has been ordered. 

We ship all orders with USPS and ship from New Jersey. *Please note that processing time does NOT include shipping time. Again, current processing time for all handmade sets is 1-2 weeks.

For more information regarding cold pack shipping, please contact us.The items that generally ship with cold packs are body butters and salves because they are receptive to melting during transit. Keep in mind that if the product melts, the appearance may be altered but not the performance of the product.

 

Our salves, body butters and scrubs has a natural melting point of approximately 80 degrees. We recommend you order and stock up during the cooler seasons.

WHAT TO DO ABOUT MELTING?

Body Butters - Salves, Lip Balms and Scrubs: Place it in the refrigerator. The melting will not affect the quality of the product as a great moisturizer, but the cream consistency will change. It will become more like a body balm.

WHAT WE'RE DOING TO HELP THE PROBLEM

During hot weather, we do our best to protect our products from melting in transit. We check every product before it's packed for shipping and we add a cold pack to each order. As a result, most products shipped in warm weather arrive without melting. But please understand, there is no way that we can ship products and completely control the high heat temperatures of summer, trucks and mailboxes.
