When you order this pack, the contents of this pack will be used to pack your order. Your anhydrous products will be wrapped in padding to prevent breakage, then placed inside the thermal envelope inside a shipping envelope or box depending how many items you ordered and sealed.
Cold pack shipping is suggested during the Spring/Summer months as certain products are more susceptible to melting during transit. Cold pack shipping is our way to try and prevent your anhydrous items from melting and making a mess.
HOWEVER, THIS OPTION HELPS TO COMBAT MELTING BY ADDING AN EXTRA LAYER OF PROTECTION. BUT DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOUR ITEMS WILL NOT MELT
The items that generally ship with cold packs are salves, balms and body butters because they are receptive to melting during transit. Keep in mind that if the product melts, the appearance may be altered but not the performance of the product.
We do not control the conditions in which your anhydrous items will ship, nor how long they will stay on the delivery truck.
What should go in a thermal envelope?
✨All balms, salves, lotion bars and body butters should go in a thermal envelope if the temperatures are 77 and above.
Our water free has a natural melting point of approximately 80 degrees. We recommend this option with the purchase of any of our WATER-FREE items to prevent potential melting during shipping if:
We recommend you order in bulk and stock up during the cooler seasons.
We also encourage you to ship to a location where someone will be present to accept the package. If left to sit in the hot sun for hours, the anhydrous products can still melt even if this cold shipping pack has been ordered.
We encourage you to reuse these thermal envelopes to prevent them from being tossed into the landfills. They can be reused in your cooler, as a first aid tool and even in your lunch box to keep food chilled. They can also be donated to local schools, clinics and shelters. Please reuse.
